Character Design #6: Cinnibar (WIP)

Description

This original character is a part of the Steven Universe fandom uvu. 

This is all his information, it's by Winged-CatGirl-Kin since he was a custom. I ended up not liking the design. I also changed bits and pieces of his information.

Name: Cinnibar
Gem Placement: Back
Weapon: Originally two swords, became gem spikes somehow after his gem broke (don't judge me-)
Hair Color: Dark red
Eye Color: Red
Skin Tone: Light red, not pink however

Story: Cinnibar was a gem created by homeworld in the Kindergarten.  He was a very focused, prepared gem who was approved of by homeworld and was trained to be a guard for one of the lead gems. He eventually fell for one of the lead homeworld gems (Amazonite). He spent all of his time infatuated on her and training.

     The gem Cinnibar has a high mercury content, which can cause insanity. Slowly, Cinnibar lost his mind and began to lose everything that made him worthwhile to the homeworld gems. He through changes, as his mind began to twist. The last straw was when his beloved gem refused his affections. He went into a rage, was barely able to escape when the homeworld gems attempted to subdue him, and had is gem partially destroyed in the process. Now he's just a corrupted monster, who demands that he is a "leader"/"prince", and he goes around looking for his "princess".

    He now uses his gem spikes to attack people, because he is still in the mindset of battle (the battle between the gems on Earth and the homeworld gems). He usually attacks unsuspecting humans, and it's even worse since his gem has a high mercury content. He'll use the spikes to ram into them, or stab them. He eventually finds a mutual love with a homeworld gem on Earth. His insanity begin to decrease because of that, and he returns back to what he once was. He also gets his two swords back, since the Crystal Gems and Steven fix his gem.

 OH MY GOD, HIS BACKSTORY IS CRAP. WELL, THE PARTS I ADDED. I'M SO SORRY.
